English-Language Programs

Preparing students for ministry in local churches where ministry is conducted in English through the study of Scripture, theology, and practical involvement in church life.

Vision & Purpose

Serving the next generation

Alliance Bible Institute seeks to support a new generation of believers serving in local churches where ministry is conducted in English.

The development of English-language programs reflects the desire to help students study Scripture more deeply and prepare for ministry within Slavic churches in North America, where English is increasingly used alongside Russian and other languages in communication and ministry.

Language of Instruction

The primary language of instruction at Alliance Bible Institute is Russian. Recognizing the bilingual background of many students, assignments may be completed in English with the approval of the instructor. Many Institute faculty members are able to teach and interact with students in both Russian and English.

In certain Institute branches, English-language study groups may also operate, with instruction conducted in English. These programs are intended to prepare students for ministry in English within the context of their local churches. At present, English-language programs and study groups are operating in Seattle, Washington and Spokane, Washington.

Who Are These Programs For?

  • participate in local church ministry conducted in English
  • grew up in bilingual environments
  • prefer studying in English
